Winter Spiced Porridge

Adding an egg in to your porridge is a great way to incorporate protein as well as making the porridge nice and creamy! You won't even taste it. Trust me…
The Winter spices are anti-inflammatory and also help to control blood sugar.
Ingredients
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup water
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger ground
1 tsp nutmeg ground
1 tsp turmeric ground
1 tsp honey
1 egg
1 serve protein powder (optional)
frozen blueberries
Method
Place all ingredients (except for the egg) in a saucepan on low heat for 5-10 mins until thickened
Stir in the egg on low heat until cooked through
Add toppings such as blueberries, nuts, pumpkin seeds to serve
